Our Verdict

The 100s-11 has more the feel of a miniscule laptop than the netbooks it descended from. The price is extremely alluring, but 32GB of storage is frustratingly small for a Windows machine. Wait for the 64GB version unless your computing inevitably are illuminate in the extreme.

To sum the whole deal up—I was impressed. Both with the superiority of most of the product, and the thinking that led to hamstringing this notebook with such little storage. So, having to knock the score down when a 64GB version would've garnered higher marks was vexing in the extreme.I can't recommend this version of the 100S-11, regardless of the tantalizing price, because products with annoying limitations or that force workarounds collision the recycling bin (or the wall) untimely.

Either hold back for the 64GB version to appear (yes, I've said IT multiple times straight off) or check impermissible the entry-level off $249, 14-inch Ideapad 100S-14 with 64GB. Assuming of course, the latter is upwards to the 100S-11's standards. Unfortunately, I have no more direct know with the intersection, as Lenovo wasn't able to allow us with ane yet for this article.
